Canción del año 1935 compuesta por Hoagy Carmichael y Stanley Adams. Carmichael fue un compositor, cantante y pianista estadounidense de música popular y de jazz y está considerado como uno de los grandes compositores de la canción popular estadounidense aunque, curiosamente, también es conocido por sus papeles como secundario en varias películas americanas como Tener y no tener y Los mejores años de nuestra vida.
La canción fue grabada el 2 de junio de 1936, en un disco de 10 pulgadas a 78 rpm, e interpretada por Chick Webb and his Orquestra que contaba, en aquel año, con una todavía adolescente Ella Fitzgerald como vocalista de la banda. Y ese mismo año Benny Goodman and his Orchestra, con Helen Ward como vocalista, grabarían su versión de esta canción
